Dallas really relinquishing the good record they built up prior to Dirk's injury.  Lakers have the #2 seed again and Dallas has fallen down far.  I really hope some other team can surge and the Lakers have more trouble.  I don't want them to be higher than the #3....

Rats.

I hope the Mavs get a replacement for Caron soon (and no, DeShawn Stevenson won't cut it).
Never forget the Champs of '08, or the gutsy warriors of '10.

It seemed like the Lakers struggled mightily throughout the course of the young season, but after 40+ games played, they have the 3rd best record in the NBA. wow.
PHX Suns: Russell Westbrook, Chris Bosh, Tristan Thompson, Trevor Ariza, Tony Allen, Trey Lyles, Corey Brewer, Larry Nance Jr., Trey Burke, Troy Daniels, Joffrey Lauvergne, Justin Holiday, Mike Muscala, 14.6

They have to be going after Stephen Jackson or Iguodala . They have to get someone who can D up Kobe and can put up 20 as a 2nd option. The next 2 seasons are likely their last chance to get back to the Finals , so they better do something quick .

Eh, I think they were a contender with Butler, but they aren't without him. Forgive me if I am not rooting for another team to enter the mix, as I'm sure LA will sneak around having to playing both somehow and have SA and DAL duke it out in the second round and the winner has nothing left for them anyway.

I love both the Clippers (was a fan of them way before they got Blake) and the Lakers - Don't care who wins today, just want a fun, entertaining game.

Clippers beat the Lakers today 99-92...14pt.turn around in the last 5 minutes.Kobe(27pts)got his but didn't score a fg in the 4th.E.Gordon is responsible for shutting Kobe out in the 4th.This game is even more impressive than them beating the Heat.Go Clippers, ive waited for this day for a long time. :)

Very heated scuffle with Griffin, Baron Davis, Odom and Artest with 5 seconds to go. Not sure why they were all ejected though.

Agreed!

Game ball goes to the backcourt of the Clips, though. Blake Griffin had a decent game, but Lamar, Gasol and Bynum really tied him up, at least from what the box score is saying.

41 pts, 27 rebs and 8 blocks between Gasol, Bynum and Odom? That's a lot to overcome.

LA's backcourt (besides Kobe) is being exposed. But in a seven game series I still don't see anyone in the West beating the Lakers.

The way it's looking so far, is that maybe the only team that can match up with LA and their height in a series?

Boston.

THE INCREDIBLE GRIFF!!!

Blake Griffin is going to be the best player in the league and MVP in a couple of years.

Blake Griffin is the first rookie since AI to score two 40+games in the same season.Blake probably will break this number by the end of the season.
