Lakers definitely escaped that one...They should have lost. Clippers just need to stop making rookie mistakes.

My gawd!!!!

aAbsolutely heartbreaking for the Clips. Derek the little pisher, hit a running bankshot that was deflected and went in the basket with the red backboard light coming on about .03 seconds after the ball left his hand.

Too bad Clippers.
The beatings will continue until morale improves

Really nice to see Big Al have a big night ... too bad the Jazz didn't give the Heat a butt-kicking in the process.

The Clippers completely choked that game away.

Three missed free throws, two turnovers, and a technical for delay of game (on Blake Griffin for taking an "extra" free throw instead of handing the ball to the ref)

Since the first quarter when Dwight went off Orlando has been getting their buts kicked by Portland.

I love how Dwight is allowed 13 to 14 seconds to shoot his free-throws, (sometimes longer), travels almost as much as Queen James, and sets up camp in the paint on every defensive trip, without repercussions ... hey, who cares about rules when "Superman" is on the court?!? (Afterall, he won a slam-dunk contest without even dunking the ball!). ;)

Vince Carter has gone right down the tubes of late ... he's playing so far below his potential, and has completely lost that explosiveness and outside threat he used to have. Put him in that T-Mac group ... it's kind of sad to see.

He's still got plenty of game left, he's just no longer a difference maker.

His stats really aren't that bad this year, nor are his splits recently:

Portland has done a very good job defending him with their wing players.

How To Beat Orlando -- Let Dwight Howard score and concentrate shutting down his supporting cast.

The supporting cast lacks the ability to create their own scoring attempts. Put a tough defense against them and they can by stymied.

If only the Celtics could implement that plan.

Oh wait  ;D!

Ouch! Lakers/27, Bulls/17 halfway through the second quarter ... not a score-fest, by any means.  :P

Ugly offensive game so far. After an awful first few minutes on the defensive end the Bulls have tightened it up.

The Bulls are very lucky to have gotten back into the game.

Wow this bulls/lakers game is very sloppy.  Glad the bulls could get back in it.
