And the Nets just need to make a few free throws to win this game.

Anyone think the Bulls and Lakers will be a good game?

I have my doubts the Bulls can hang with them, especially if Taj Gibson is out.

Atlanta is going to make a trade this season. Count on it. Jamal or Josh is gone.

Depends how the Lakers play.

If the Lakers play half-assed it might be a close game, but if its close Kobe will win it for them in the end.

If the Lakers try, it will be a blowout, bulls just arent big enough.

So far this season our two most feared opponents, the Bucks and the Hawks are looking downright awful.

They're not going to trade Joe Johnson right after signing him to a max deal.

I think Jamal will be moved since they don't appear to have any desire to give him a contract going forward.

Atlanta is now 2-7 after a 6-0 start. Yuck, that pancake schedule to start the season didn't do them any favors.

I meant Josh Smith, my bad, sometimes get those two confused.

Ahh, that makes more sense.

I still think they'll hold onto Smith, he's so young to give up on now.

Shannon Brown is having a ridiculously hot start for the year.

He's shooting above 50% from the field, above 50% from 3 point land, and above 90% from the stripe.

The Bulls are playing very well, Asik has held up pretty well against LA's size.

At 67% (!) Brown is one of six Laker rotation guys shooting over 60% TS%.  He's one of three Lakers shooting over 50% from 3 (with Blake and Barnes on the fringes around 47%).

If it weren't for Kobe ball-hogging his way to 20 contested jump shots a game, the Lakers could be even better offensively.

Dang is Rose electric when he gets all the way to the rim, even against the Laker towers.  The Lakers have no one remotely capable of staying in front of him. Fisher gets lost on the first dribble.

Chicago double teaming Kobe on every play.  Not exactly working out.  Kobe's much more dangerous as a passer than a mid-range jump shooter.

Really disappointed in Thibs defensive decision making.  Single-team Kobe with a guy like Deng and he's shooting 18-foot contested 2-pointers.  Granted, Kobe makes a lot of those, but he's a 43% shooter, he's not gonna hit them all.  Double team him and he makes the swing pass to a veritable army of elite 3-point shooters.

One of the most underrated parts of the Lakers this year is their 3-point shooting prowess. Brown, Blake, Barnes and Kobe can all shoot it; As can Odom, Fisher and Artest.
