Lakers blew this game with awful execution late in the fourth, just got very sloppy.

I also don't understand why they didn't use Gasol down low late when Nene had 5 fouls!

Well, seeing how The Celtics have become Giant Killers, this makes me yearn even more for Jan 30, 2011.

On that night, a Green Storm is coming to LA. It will be named:

Hurricane Payback.

Kobe still hasn't come to grips with the fact that Gasol is their best offensive weapon.

Gasol played just awful did y'all watch the game, that's why they stopped going to him.

Indeed.  Al Harrington (!) shut him down defensively.  Al Harrington is far from excellent on that side of the ball.

OK....Kevin Love is having a RIDICULOUS Season....

"31 Points, THIRTY-ONE Rebounds....31 rebs.........12 of those on the Offensive end"

This was tonight's game vs NY.

Didn't this man just pull in 24 rebs against the vaunted front line of Gasol and Odom??

He is playing at nearly an All-Star Level...I wonder what could possibly keep him out of it?

You don't go away from your best post player when Al Harrington is guarding him and you also don't go away from him when the only C on the other team has 5 fouls with 6 minutes left.

I thought it was weird Odom didn't play more.

Weird.

LA had 20 offensive rebounds, meanwhile the Suns only had 22 defensive rebounds. The Suns had 10 defensive rebounds themselves.

The Suns made 22 three pointers, and shot 40! They made more three point shots than LA attempted!

Nice to see the "Lake" show coming into some adversity ;D.

Also good to see that this new Technical rule is affecting someone other than us, too - evidently, Lamar Odom got called for a questionable tech in that game:

http://sports.espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/news/story?id=5807772

I personally don't like this rule, even if it causes LA to lose. It's just not a good rule. You are in essence trying to restrict a player's normal emotion - especially to a game-saving play?

I can understand the Lake Show's angst, even if they did lose.

On top of that, Lamar Odom appears to be injured, too.

Get well, LA - you have a date in June, and it wears a Green outfit.

I wish I watched this game. Were they mostly wide open or was Pho just insanely hot?

Both.  They actually had I believe 19 in the first 3 quarters.  Richardson was unconscious and Turkoglu hit a bunch, but a lot of them were open due to good ball movement and poor Laker rotations.

NO/Dallas, Utah/OKC, Denver/Phoenix...very nice slate of games in the West tonight.  Should be fun to watch while grading 9000 papers.
