It's game #2 of an 82 game season.

The over-reaction to an October loss is laughable.

Yeah but it just makes last night win pretty pointless, a win is a win no matter who it's against...and them talking about wanting homecourt advantage so bad...you gotta bring it every night

Not really. A win vs. Miami on National TV sends a message to the rest of the NBA to watch out for us.

A win vs. Cleveland on local TV in the 2nd game of the year doesn't really say much.

it says we're 2-0, not 1-1

Given how tough the early schedule is for the celts, I was hoping that they could get this one against a bad team.  Sorry, but the cavs are bad.

not as bad as the Heat  ;D
Yup

And at the end of the day what does that get you at this moment?  Absolutely nothing.

80 games to go.

Celtics stars having an off game on the second night of a back to back in which the first game is treated with playoff minutes...wake me up when a real storyline emerges.

Excuse making seems to be starting early this year. Lol
Yes its much better to be miserable and panic constantly.

You guys do know that noone here is making excuses or is miserable, right?

It´s a generous assessment of the team´s performance and a response from someone who is afraid his beloved Celtics could underperform and fail to win the championship, nothing more.

It´s just the second game of the season, it´s premature to make an absolute statement, either way.

When someone is actively talking about leaving game threads until the playoffs, during the second game. I think they're pretty miserable, and a little panicky.

Basically he's saying he's going to avoid CB for 7 months after two games?

Definitely will mean something if us and Miami are tied in the standings on the 82nd game of the year. I'm just saying, a win is a win no matter what time of the season is it

I am so friggen p---ed right now  >:(.

I was watching the game on delay and had 38.5 seconds left and then all of a sudden NBA League Pass goes to it's loading page and would not go back to the game.

I got the game ruined for me, league pass broadband messed up, I didn't get to watch the C's broadcast because I have to watch the games on league pass now, and the worst of the C's lost.

Uuuugggghhhh....  >:(.

We still hold the tiebreaker on them right now if that makes you sleep any better.

celtics don't care about home court advantage in the east...but they need to care about it if they get to the finals..

i just hate the cavs and want to see all their stupid fans that live around me in the depths of misery

Yeah, Shaq and him both were negatives/non-presences.

boston can handle one of them sucking for a game...when both suck...makes it tough..and so far JO looks bad

It certainly is reassuring that we have Perk in wait down the road.

Game 2 of 82.  It's a long season.  Everyone needs to relax.
