It's game #2 of an 82 game season.
The over-reaction to an October loss is laughable.
Yeah but it just makes last night win pretty pointless, a win is a win no matter who it's against...and them talking about wanting homecourt advantage so bad...you gotta bring it every night
How does it make it pointless?
Last night illustrated what this Celtics team is capable of and most people will say that the Celtics weren't even firing on all cylinders then.
This Celtics team is one of the top 3 teams in the NBA. How many teams in the NBA can conceivably take out that Miami team? We know we're one of them.
Tonight was certainly a letdown but my money is saying that last night is much more indictive of where this Celtics team stands, one of a handful of teams that can legitimately contend for a title.
Games like this happen in the regular season all the time. How many times over the years have we seen a team playdown to the competition?
