Maybe him and Ari Gold can team up and relocate an existing team to the city we all hate. I'm all for the idea, it would give us another L.A. team to hate, and the Patriots would beat on them. Do it Magic!

LA and football..if at first you don't succeed...keep doing it again and failing.

Makes sense coming from LA. It brought us the Ernest movies, and lots of other pop culture references I'm too tired to think of.

Give 'em the Bills.

Or the Jags, or the Panthers.

I would be absolutely livid if they moved the Bills.  I know they have issues with the stadium, but there aren't many better, more-loyal fan bases in the league than in Buffalo.

From what i've heard up in the ND area is that there are talks of moving the Vikings to LA.  I heard this from a coworker who claims to have ties/knows certain people in the media in Minneapolis.  She claims they are in serious talks about moving them due to stadium issues...of course none of this has been reported and you'd think they'd want to break a story like that.  I heard this about 3 weeks ago and told her she was crazy...maybe she's not that crazy. my only response (besides your crazy) was 'how many teams is LA going to steal from MN?'.  It would be horrible for the fans up here...they are die hard.

Well, the Vikings have been another team that's been mentioned as potentially moving.  That's another classic NFL franchise that would suck to see gone.  I'm all in favor of having an LA team, but as a fan there are certain markets that just ought to have representation.

Robert Kraft, baby - saved us from being the St. Louis Patriots!

I'm surprised to see that the Vikings name come up in a potential move to LA. I am very surprised that LA does not have a football team. They should move the Bengals out there, TO and Ocho would be perfect for the city!

Did it fail?  I never paid enough attention when teams were there, but did they actually struggle there, or did they just move for other reasons (owners choice/finances for stadium, etc)?

As much as we all hate it, I would imagine LA should be a strong market for an NFL team.

It'd almost certainly be a current NFL team relocating there.  It's still amazing that the city went from 2 NFL teams to none overnight.

Another team that has be thrown around as a possible relocation candidate is the Chargers.  Considering they got their start in LA back in the AFL and their current stadium situation, it wouldn't shock me.  Of course, LA going another decade or so without a football team wouldn't shock me, either.

USC has pretty much been the de facto "pro football" team out there in the timebeing.

I know in the Raiders case, they were issues with the LA Coliseum and the lack of luxury boxes there.  I think Davis was promised Coliseum renovations by the city or county that never came to fruition so he up & moved the team back to Oakland.

The Rams were playing in Anaheim at the old Big A which I'm guessing was antiquated itself at the time.  They probably wanted renovations or a new stadium.

...  with all that we're finding out about Reggie Bush and others at USC, I'm not so sure that we can call them a "de-facto" professional team anymore; they're just professional!
