our 3 unit is playing now, the subs subs.

I still want to see who tries to step it up.  I don't mind losing the game, but I do want to find out who among our 12-15 wants to win the most.

Only watched the first half (since I'm now working on my masters thesis), however I liked what I saw from Marquis.  When Philly started to press, they simply gave him the ball to bring up the court.  Most small forwards in this league aren't so good at pressing a ball-handler the whole length of the court.  Having Nate, Delonte, and him on the floor at the same time should essentially make it impossible to trap or press this team.  And that's a far cry from a bench that used to struggle to find 1 capable player to bring the ball up the court.

Bradley is not a point guard but he should develop into a useful defensive sub this season.

And Lasme battling three Sixers for the rebound and he forces Philly to commit a foul. Nice.

Holiday, you just got schooled, and you know it, even if the refs don't.

Lasme is the best matchup against Speights

Avery Bradley's defense was very impressive.

Luke Harangody = a young Matt Bonner?

I like Phily putting Turner out there down the stretch. Give him as much experience as possible early in the season in close fourth quarters playing key minutes. Best possible way to create confidence.

Yeah, I think his ceiling is 6'7'' Matt Bonner.

Is 6'7'' Matt Bonner an NBA rotation player, considering Matt Bonner is a decent role player at best?  Not entirely sure.

Bradley looks petty bad on offense. Way too many forced shots. But the D is definitely as advertised. We'll see how he pans out.

Harangody is looking pretty decent, but not spectacular enough to make the team (looks like he'll end up in Maine). He just had a nice spin move and took it to the rack, but was a little slow on D.

Semih hasn't really shown much today. Still, my guess is that he makes the team due to his mobility and size, and the likelihood that Jermaine O'Neal will probably get injured, unfortunately.

Between Lasme, Wafer, and West: Wafer is still looking pretty crappy. I'm not a fan of his game. West has looked ok, but Lasme has GOT to be the obvious option for 15th man.

Matt Bonner isn't a rotation worthy player.

Bonner is a fifth or preferably sixth big in the depth chart level player.

That Bradley-Mario backcourt was painful to watch.  Every pass was an adventure.

Bradley's definitely not PG material yet.  I'd like to see him get some time at the 2.

Yes, that's pretty much my take as well.

Well, I've seen enough for tonight.  Check you all later.

14 point deficit with under five to play ... pretty much done at this point.

lack of mobility from the two O'Neals which may be exposed by good teams
Jermaine O'Neal is taking all those charges by beating offensive players to the spot. Where's the lack of mobility in that?

yeh, can't call JO out for lack of mobility. especially from what we've seen thus far.
