Lasme has looked more useful than Wafer.

This reminds me a little of those late-season games in 08 when the Big 3 would sit out and our bench would still absolutely stomp other teams' starters.

EDIT:  Again, spoke too soon.

We got out-hussled a bit there at the end.

  • Rondo = Good
Early returns on Avery aren't great...granted, he hasn't played much in a while due to his injury, but I think it's not unreasonable to say that he looks like a project.

He doesn't seem ready to run the point. He managed 1 turnover and 2 badly forced shots.

Lasme plays within himself. Wafer forces it. Bradley not playing like a PG right now. Not comfortable seeking out the angles and finding the opening.

Woah! This is really cohesive, hustle ball (against the sixers).

That unit looks awesome!

Yes. And now imagine how good they would look if delonte were out there instead of wafer. The celtics second unit will be very good this year...better than a few NBA starting teams I think.

From what I've seen of our reserves this year, the Celtics are looking really solid for another title run. Davis and Nate would have to one of the best 1-2 punches off the bench in the league. Add in West's all round game, solid play from Daniels and the surprising Semih in the middle and that is a great, well rounded 2nd unit.

Right now, apart from the risk of injury, I see only two weaknesses in this team: lack of mobility from the two O'Neals which may be exposed by good teams and lack of an ideal backup for Pierce. But really, these are only going to be problems against a handful of teams.

Bradley is either not in good shape or does not have oustanding quickness we all thought he had. If he is not quick enough, at 6'2 he is at odds to become a good nba player

Jermaine O'Neal is taking all those charges by beating offensive players to the spot. Where's the lack of mobility in that?

Bradley making some poor passes, but it looks like the guys he is playing with are not making themselves properly available because they are also not comfortable in the offense.

I'm sorry, but I just can't get over the irony of you knocking a bunch of our players and then liking what Von Wafer looks like out there.
