Celtics have a 3% chance to win the Finals?

Celtics are 12-1 with the bookies. Therefore it is an 8-9% chance.

Heat are 2-1
Lakers 3-1

Don't forget that Vegas odds aren't really what they think the odds of a team winning are but rather how they think people will bet.  There is not always much difference but in this case, I am sure a lot more people are going to bet on the Heat and Lakers based on notoriety vs. pure basketball rationale.

I'm assuming you can't vote for yourself, or else we'd see a lot of teams with 3%.

Slightly off-topic, but I must say - I miss that harassing defense that Posey played on folks. Look at what he did to Kobe there in the youtube vid. He got called for a foul, sure, but then he proceeds to "foul Kobe again", right after the whistle. He was known for that, too.

Hopefully, Delonte, Marquis or Bradley can provide that kind of defense for us - up in your face - type.

Yeah the GM's can't vote for their own teams. Doc even commented on an article regarding that voting: "...someone likes the Celtics besides Danny Ainge"

Last year, we probably had (according to the "experts") roughly a 1.2 % (just throw a number out there) chance of reaching the Finals.

We all know how that went

08' was like taking the cattle out to slaughter in the finals!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man was that awesome, I wish I could watch that whole series again for the first time! I was in utter disbelief as to how we where destroying the mighty Laker!!
