Eh, I remember hearing the same thing about Shelden Williams around the same time last year  :-X

I guess in fairness to Doc (and Williams) Shelden played pretty well the first month of the season, when BBD was injured.  He later wasn't as impressive, but in terms of a "break in case of emergency" player, Williams actually filled his role pretty well early on.

Yes, definitely. That stretch was our best basketball of the entire regular season.

I agree.  Isn't it interesting that our best stretch of basketball of the entire regular season occurred while Glen Davis was injured.

If by interesting you mean completely coincidental, then yes, it is very interesting.

No, the two things happened at the same time, so obviously Baby not playing caused us to play better.  On a related note, I have a coffee cup on my desk that keeps away tigers.

You know I never even considered that?  Hmmmm... :o

I hope if Semih does play he plays well...so we can trade him :)

Doc said that about Patrick O'Bryant as well.Until i see it happen on the court, same goes for Marquis Daniels,im not believing any interviews they do just to give the beat writers a story for the day.

He also said it about Nate Robinson, telling Nate he would win us a playoff game...

Apparently, Erden ate so much growth-hormone-treated beef that he has grown 2 inches during the 2 weeks of training camp.

Semih is in stand by mode. ShaQ will be given a lot of games off. Similar to the Phoenix Suns approach where ShaQ showed flashes of domination when he was kept fresh. JO always has nagging injuries that he deals with every season. In those instances, Semih will move up depth chart to # 4 big.

Maybe he just put his shoes back on.
