i guess kind of what you'd expect from them as they seem to be the more quiet ones but isnt it weird we have not heard much from them? has rondo been working on his fts and jumper? hows ray doing?

havent heard much from them about how they been doing in camp or even seen much of them. hopefully they dont feel i wont say shadowed, but put off by shaq nates jokes and circus that has been going around

Yeah I think everyone is more focused on the circus that is Nate.

Not concerned with Ray.

He will be fine...But I would like more Rondo news too.

I've read a few things on Ray this week. Everything seems fine with him. Here's an interview here if you're interested: http://greenstreet.weei.com/sports/boston/basketball/celtics/2010/10/01/ray-allen-on-dc-roller-coaster-of-emotions-over-summer/

Same thing on the Rondo front. Re: the jumper I recall reading somewhere he said he didn't do anything special on his jumper this summer.
Tommy: He's got a line about me. Tell him the line.

Mike: Everybody 60 or over knows Tommy as a player. Everybody 40 or over knows Tommy as a coach. Everybody 20 or over knows Tommy as a broadcaster. And everybody 10 or under thinks he's Shrek.

I think his jumper will be fine he just needs to be confident in it....and get a routine spot on the floor where he can hit it and play off of that.

It is his FT% that I am more worried about.

Rondo isn’t gonna upload a video telling how many free throws and elbow jumpers he took. He isn’t into all that, Rondo is very quiet media-wise.

And Ray has had the same routine for 15 years, so i don’t think we need to worry about how he’s doing.

I'd be surprised if Rondo isn't working on his two biggest flaws - but Shaq's quote is somewhat disturbing - because overall conditioning clearly isn't one of Rondo's problems...

And he's working to keep it that way. Never stay satisfied lol

Only on celticblog would people find it somewhat disturbing that Rondo spends time on the treadmill. Maybe he should just forgo practice altogether and spend every minute he's on a basketball court working on his jump shot and free throws.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
no news is good news.  i realize we live in a society where we want to know what these guys had for breakfast and how much gas they currently have in their tank, but it's not necessary.

i'm sure both of them are quite well...
