Really Baby..really? Like an actress complaining what is her motivation for a scene, Baby wants to know his role on the team. Raelly? Your career thus far is injury replacement, that has been your role from the beginning. Well, obviously C's weren't satisfied with just you, Baby. C's went out and got actual productive big men. You aren't meant to start, or be second string. You are a garbage time player. Baby should have been traded, but teams won't give up good players for him, because DA has tried. His backers would have you believe he'll adjust to a new role. The most delusional of C's fans will have you swear he can play wing effectively. He ain't fooling me. I don't like our team's performance when he's on the court. Try looking into those numbers, not just his rare individual play only. Doc wouldn't keep changing an established, consistent, productive player's role each year. I say send his dancing bear act out of town. Baby is only out to get headlines, he waited til Media Day to express his displeasure, not during his many videos(admit it, you were waiting for a Ga Ga version). Hopefully his next position or role is cheerleader or garbageman, course expect a sensitive crying episode if that happens. Someone need to give him a pacifier.

EDIT: Don't try to evade the profanity filter. Official Warning.

I just read what Davis said and I've got to say that it doesn't surprise me at all that he's complaining/confused about his role.  I'm not saying I agree with him, but that's just part of who Davis is.   It seems like he's always wanted to play a bigger role than he has been given.  For what it's worth, despite all of Baby's talk over the years, he's backed it up with solid play.  And we can't discount that he ended everything he said yesterday with this:
Quote
"Sacrificing yourself; sacrifice who you are for the greater good of the team. That's what I learned by playing with Doc and playing with all these veterans. I have to sacrifice myself in order to be a part of this team and I'm willing to do that."

I'm not worried about the effect of Davis "complaining."

Ray Allens momma needs to smack him upside his head and tell him to grow up and be a man. He's simply not as good as he thinks he is in his own mind. I appreciate the heart and hustle just as much as the next guy because that's what legendary Celtics teams are based on. But his whining and complaining especially when he's so inconsistent in his performances day in and day out is getting very old.

Look for this kid to be packaged somewhere midseason for a draft pick or backup sf. This team doesn't need any more divos especially if they haven't earned that right by playing top calibre ball on a consistent basis.

I see no reason why Ray Allen's momma couldn't smack Big Baby over the head and tell him what's what.

Ya I'm well aware of who's who.. I was just bringing up Rays mom cause she seems like a tough love type of woman and I always enjoy how fired up she gets at games. You can see where the passion and competitive nature might come from just by watching her.

But feel free to keep insulting my intelligence and taking shots indeedproceed. You obviously have a previous issue with some if my posts or somthing cause that was pretty unneccesary. My opinions and points might be divisive at times but that post was light hearted and pretty none dramatic. I even added some things I like about the baby.

I think this teams should stay away from any type of teammate mother relationships.

Now opponent mother relationships, I don't have a problem with.

You're conflating IP posting two pictures as a joke to an insult.

What happened to "light hearted and none (sic) dramatic"?

Yeah, I just assumed you mixed up the names in your head. It happens to literally everyone. I also assumed you'd be able to take the light-hearted joke for what it was.

I'm pretty sure I can tell the difference between two players on this team. Questioning that to me is a pretty big insult. I take this team pretty seriously hence the name. So if you were being light hearted my apologies. But to me that's an insult and kind of like talking down to me. Just my opinion though. Go Celtics!

Its always your opinion, why would we think its someone else's? And if you're going to qualify and apology, why offer it?

Taking the Celtics seriously doesn't mean you should take every post on Celticsblog seriously.

See this post for my explanation of why I chose Ray Allens mom.. That's why I made my statement nothing else.

Questioning a Celtics fans knowledge to me in the family I grew up in was an insult. I realize this is not the case with a lot of people and might seem pretty extreme. Personally I'd have it no other way though. But yes in all honesty you questioning whether I can differentiate each player on a team that I fail to miss a game pre, regular, and postseason is insulting to me. Just how I was raised sorry. But that's the truth. Sorry if I got overly offended in your opinion and took it too seriously. But honestly what else do you expect from a Celtichooligan?

Again if you're going to qualify your apology why offer it at all? I suppose that's the part I'm hung up at this point. An apology with such qualification isn't an apology at all, that's how it was in my family at least.

Either way we're drifting ridiculously OT. I think BBD will be a good bench player for us again this year. But I don't think he'll resign with us this off season when he's a FA. That's the only real effect his dissatisfaction will have on the C's.

Yeah, like I said my gut thought was that you just mixed up the names in your head. I do that all the time. I've called my dog by my gf's name, and vice versa. It is embarrassing but funny.

Personally though I think it is pretty strange that your first thought it to accuse me of having some sort of personal problem with you. I don't know where that is coming from.

In the end though this is all pretty pointless, and it is way too much crap to wade though for a small misunderstanding and a poorly received joke. It is kind of like Big Baby's comment above...in reality it is just some small emotional reaction that will only be a big deal if people take it too far and don't drop it.
