In his prime he could score the rock  as good

He no longer is in that tier, not even close

Yes he is. Iso Paul Pierce in the high post, surround him with shooters, and watch what happens.

This year his rhythm was killed by injuries. I have faith in Captain for next year.

This year he wasn't as good. You may be right about him bouncing back...but like KG..guys as old as Pierce and Garnett typically don't improve. They just get worse.

I'm not saying Pierce is not an extremely valuable piece of this team. Obviously he is.
