Thoughts on the best coach to not be selected?

I thought somebody might go with Tom Izzo.  Among retired coaches, Chuck Daly of course is near the top of the list, but he's been out of the game for a decade.  Current coaches...  Mike Brown?  He can coach defense, at least.
Ummm Roy.....

Chuck Daly is dead.

Totally slipped my mind...  Well, I guess he wouldn't make a great coach, huh?  :P

No love for the trade from my end?

I got a guy that better fits my team. Mayo is the better upside talent at this point but Butler's all around game fits my rosters needs much better.

I especially like the fact that Sef can move to SG. He and Butler can be beastly defensively.

I think it was a pretty fair deal when you also consider I was able to move up and get a nice backup pg.

It makes sense for you to do it, but I would've wanted a little more back for Mayo. Though I do have a huge man-cursh on OJ so I could be tainted

Believe me...I love Mayo too which is why I took him 30th overall...

Thing is ever since I picked Collison I cornered myself into a defensively limited backcourt. I have been looking for a deal like this for days. If I kept the backcourt as constructed I dont think I would have gotten much love in the voting. I also picked up some nice young talent for my bench so I could afford to get some veteran experience. I have some nice pieces waiting in the wings.

TP for the Mayo love...not enough of it around here IMO.

Chicago selects Mike D'Antoni as their new head coach.

We believe he'll maximize LeBron's playmaking ability and Jennings' speed, and because of his Team USE affiliations, he'll instantly have a rapport with LeBron, as well as the respect of the team.

I like this pick a lot and am surprised D'Antoni didn't go earlier.  He's one of the few coaches who can actually increase the value of a team's players.  Now if you only had an electric PF like Amare to go along with this team... (Sorry! I couldn't resist!  Actually, cb'ers who value defense would eat this team up as a reg season dominator but playoff failure.  I think a Lebron, Amare, D'Antoni offense would be so unreal though.)

D'Antoni would be a really good coach for the Cavs if they could trade Shaq for an athletic big man.

I'm not a huge Butler fan but I think overall it'll help your team.

I do like the Farmar pick. He brings freshly minted championship shine and likely benefits from steadier minutes and a break from the PG-unfriendly triangle offense.

Will be interesting to see what he'll do in New Jersey.

I'm picking again today at 3:20PM and I'll be away from a computer and off my smartphone. Is there anyone I can send my list to? At this point I'll be paying out 5 TP's to who's ever willing to do it.

I like Farmar too, he should be a better PG than he was in LAL.

I'll be interested to see if he can turn things around this year.

Darn... good solid pick. He stepped in and played some good minutes last season when real Portland's big men were dropping like flies.

San Antonio - 15th Pick - Jose Barea

I think the steal of the round, and a much better option that the other PG's that have gone ahead of him this round

I would argue that Williams was the better fit for my team. But nice pick for you.
