Good trade Houston.  I like the idea of having 3 perimeter players who can beat their man and if Hickson's man steps in to help, he's gonna clean up.

In more important news the CrotoPicklebutts will settle on a flier in Micheal Redd for the 9th round.
Unfortunately Redz your original pick was a elligible player, thus it must stand.

The CrotoPicklebutts 9th round pick stands at Rasho.

sorry, misunderstood the ruling on that

In that case I can safely make IP's pick for him.

IP selects Michael Redd (he wanted to trade up for hom last night...he'll be pleased)

YESSSS!

me and my big mouth

I give you nuthing... :'(

p.s. then Rasho is playing or not???

I mean in the NBA

p.s. feel free to send us whatever u were offering for Redd Ip

I now have the 11.1, and will field offers for it.

I'll also follow up on trade offers during the break between rounds. Right now, I've got to get my morning started. Back later.

I don't think Rasho is playing in the NBA, Edgar.  The rule has always been that if you select a European player, you're stuck with his "rights", but he can't play for your team.

So we've got that going for us.

On the bright side this also means we can draft the rights to Gerald Green.
Yup

HOU trades Caron Butler and 10.4 (Jordan Farmar)
OKC trades O.J. Mayo and 11.1

Boy Caron gets around huh? Is this his 3rd or 4th new team? He's the QRich of the Cblog Draft.

Okay so LAL apparently traded a pick they did not owned based on what Roy and I have been able to determine.

Since LAL owns two 11th round picks and was attempting to trade the 11.27 pick the Sacramento franchise is awarded the lower of the two 11th round picks LAL owns.

So Sacramento owns 11.19

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
Chicago selects Mike D'Antoni as their new head coach.

We believe he'll maximize LeBron's playmaking ability and Jennings' speed, and because of his Team USE affiliations, he'll instantly have a rapport with LeBron, as well as the respect of the team.

No love for the trade from my end?

I got a guy that better fits my team. Mayo is the better upside talent at this point but Butler's all around game fits my rosters needs much better.

I especially like the fact that Sef can move to SG. He and Butler can be beastly defensively.

I think it was a pretty fair deal when you also consider I was able to move up and get a nice backup pg.

D'Antoni is an interesting choice; you'll give people something to debate over.
