did my brother make a trade that i was unaware of becuase i was certain pistons were next...

There have been no trades, as far as I know.  I think it was just a goof on the Commish's part.

Well, Faf wins our bet.  I didn't think that there was any way that Bogut would sniff the first round.

I had my eye on him for 28. Oh well. Nice pick riah you sunk my battle ship.

The Pistons, looking at the way the NBA rules are structured, are happy to select the next great PG in NBA history

John Wall

Reach!  ;)

(Looks like I won the bet with Fafnir that Wall would be a 1st rounder, though.)

Yeah that was my mistake, the Pistons GMs were the GMs of the knicks before we randomized. sorry about that!

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
going yet again with a reach....Andrew Bogut

I think he is less of a reach than Rondo was...and he's a good player to stick with Rondo.

I've thought for a long time that in order to play alongside Rondo and flourish you've got to have granite skin and a persevering attitude. Bogut has those things. The only thing he doesn't have is a good midrange game (or at least he didn't have one last season), so you'll get the "they're going to pack the paint" attacks.

like that is always lethal." - Evan 'The God' Turner

A bear?

That's two vague literary references for me today. A TP to whoever can guess them both.

With the 28th pick, the Nyets are happy to select:
Andre Iguodala!

The Nyets only recently learned how to spell his last name but are excited to see what he can bring to the last days of the Izod center!
