Good One, IP.

I remember that time, too - I was deployed in the Arabian Gulf. I had just just finished breakfast, walked up to my workspace, and started reviewing message traffic.

That morning seemed ordinary - up until one of my shipmates, a diehard Spurs fan, came up to me, grinning. Of course, I thought he was going to go into one of his customary Spurs rants, but this morning he said:

"Hey man, your boys got KG and Ray Allen"

The whole 4th quarter of game 3 of the '02 Eastern Conference Finals. I was so tired I literally passed out after the game and sleep the rest of the day.

"In the 4th quarter I'm a whole different player" - Paul Pierce

I remember that game, because it was like a drink of cold water for the drought the Celtics were in for those few years.

I was sorry that we eventually lost that series to NJ, but I'm somewhat glad in a way, because it would've been hard to beat LA that year.

Yeah I mean, I obviously knew we got KG well before I saw the commercial...but something about it just sums it all up. I rememeber the trade rumors, the verification, the double verification, the triple "are you for cereal?????" verification...but this commercial just says it better. and in slow motion. to an awesome song.

Nice clip, I Remember watching that game. At first i'm just like are you kidding me.. Then bledsoe takes that hit and I just think its all over.. Then BAM touchdown lol.. Was sick..

I had hated bledsoe the whole time he was a patriot but he redeemed himself in my eyes on that drive

Mine is Edgar Renteria, grounding out to Keith Foulke in the ninth inning of the 2004 World series. It was the final out, and the Sox finally won a WS in my lifetime. Very memorable, I saw them lose in 75 and 86. The comeback being 3 down versus the Yanks, the icicng on the cake after 86 years, and finally a "CHAMPIONSHIP." My greatest memory from any Boston Team!!!

The game where Larry got hurt and came back against IND.  I almost had a tear go down my cheek.  Here it is :

Player today most of them don't have that kind of heart.  He was hurt his career was on the downside, it really made me appreciate him even more.

87 Finals- with a chance to win a game at the last second, Bird takes a fall away 3 and ends up at the Laker bench.  The shot just missed, but the look on Bird's face gives me chills.  The shot was supposed to go in.

Also whenever I see highlights of Bird's concussion game against Indiana I get chills.  He is laying there looking dead, then ends up running out of the locker room and single handedly destroying Indiana while talking trash to Chuck Person the whole time.  Bird claims to remember nothing of this.

These two things sum up Birds toughness and competitiveness perfectly.  They are pretty inspirational to me.

I agree, Celtics4ever...TP for the clip.  When it happened it, it literally made me sick to my stomach and I could not believe it when Bird came back...miraculous that he could stand up, never mind play so brilliantly...
