When...the next time he throws an elbow at a Celtics player, he turns around and sees the following players checking in.

Shaq
Big Baby
Harangody

:)

If I were coaching and he threw one elbow, I'd send those guys in en masse and tlel them all to introduce themselves to him.

Heh, I know... I was actually a bit upset at the Celtics for not retaliating at all.  I'm not saying try and hurt the guy, but it shouldn't have been a complete 1-way street.  I was, and still am, all for some rough housing with Dwight Howard.

next time Dwight throws an elbow, next thing you know he turns around, and Shaq is looking at him "hello there, can i help you  ;D"

If I were Dwight Howard and I saw Harangody trying to match up against me I'd feel like throwing a party...

In the 50's. When an opposing player would take cheap shots at Celtic players. Red would send in "Jungle Jim" Luskatoff and within five minutes he would be a fistfight with the player and they would both be ejected from the game. I would sign "Slava" K. (The Polish Hammer) from the summer league and give him that role! From what I saw he likes to hit People!!!

Danny sign "The Hammer"!

By all means, get rough with Howard. Don't try to hurt him, but let him know you're there. Some well-placed boxouts by the Barn-door Backsides (that means Shaq and Baby) into Howard's legs should do the trick.

Yeah, I'm not thinking that Luke would scare anyone, nor would I think Luke would be playing if we were playing the Magic.

Still, he'll have his hands full in the playoffs with Perk, Shaq, BBD, and Jermaine.

I'd kind of like to see Dwight just try and get away with throwing his "Unintentional" elbows at Shaq.

I don't think Shaq would even have to retaliate to send Howard off with his tail between his legs. Just one nice, big long stare down.

Pau, Kobe, Lebron, DHoward???? How about Artest? No Artest, no title for the Fakers. I'd like to see him taken out. He singlehandedly (or singlekneeedly)with a real cheapshot took RA out of the series, making him ineffective for the last 5 games

Pau, Kobe, Lebron, DHoward???? How about Artest? No Artest, no title for the Fakers. I'd like to see him taken out. He singlehandedly (or singleknee-edly)with a real cheapshot took RA out of the series, making him ineffective for the last 5 games of the Finals. No retaliation emboldened him and he was way more effective than he should have been with that new found confidence. While we're at it let the Hammer or Shaq take out Bynum with Kobe for their tag-team takedown and takeout of Perk. Let's use our new muscle and strike first this year before we are struck. At the very least it will send a messqage. At best (in terms of results) maybe they lose one of their key pieces so they will lose a series, but, sadly, it will never be as meaningful as the series we just lost.

The saddest part is that we had 18 in our grasp, and we lost it this way (cheapshots) to the team/fandom we dislike the most. (I hate to use the word "hate"  ;D) This group we have now may win two more titles  OR may never get to the Finals again. Either way, this was a missed opportunity that we lost because we got out-toughed. Let's not let that happen again and at least go down fighting (both figuratively and literally) with some serious physicality.

haha that is actually a pretty awesome idea. Tp.

We got banged up a lot this postseason and really didn't give our opponents any hard fouls, hopefully with all the bigs on this team for next season, everyone will think twice before hurting one of our guys.

The next time Dwight Howard elbows a Celtic, I say we send Ray Allen in there to give him the Varejao treatment with an elbow of his own.

Hopefully, Ray still has it in him to get all ball on that one.
