Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I'm not syaing Shaq has no motivation, he does play hard when he plays.
Howwever, what "could" be different here in Boston is that this will be the first time since playing with Kobe that he will be pairing up with a personality as intense and dedicated as Kobe always has been, in the form of KG. LeBron doesn't scare that, and I dont' think Wade does either.
LeBron and Wade arent' old intense like KG and Kobe, it's different.
So now Shaq walks into Boston with not just one KG, but then he's got Pierce and Ray, arguably from reports some of the most dedicated guys in the game as well. The you have Rondo, who's no wall flower.
If Shaq engages with these guys and buys in, don't be suprised to see him somehwat reborn, maybe dropping some what as the season goes on and becoming more effective.
But coming back to KG? That guy will absolutely get into anyone's head, you can't help but be affected by it.
And if KG's is more removed from his injury, he may become an animal again, especially if we keep him around 30 minutes a night all season.
I love "Baby is my illegitimate son..."
