Fafnir -- will you post times this today or this weekend for the draft?

i'm guessing there  are folks like me that need to take their break or lunch for their pick at work, so they need a little planning time.

thanks!

I'm in the central time zone, I eat lunch at 12:30 till 1:30 my time. (I won't be at my computer during lunch)

15 picks a session with 10 minute window.

1   9:30 AM
2   9:40 AM
3   9:50 AM
4   10:00 AM
5   10:10 AM
6   10:20 AM
7   10:30 AM
8   10:40 AM
9   10:50 AM
10   11:00 AM
11   11:10 AM
12   11:20 AM
13   11:30 AM
14   11:40 AM
15   11:50 AM
16   2:30 PM
17   2:40 PM
18   2:50 PM
19   3:00 PM
20   3:10 PM
21   3:20 PM
22   3:30 PM
23   3:40 PM
24   3:50 PM
25   4:00 PM
26   4:10 PM
27   4:20 PM
28   4:30 PM
29   4:40 PM
30   4:50 PM

Those times are all eastern.

TP, fafnir.... and i just want to clarify the time listed above is when your pick is DUE.

I just want to make sure-- since there was some similar confusion last year due to a similar discrepancy in the rules:

Quote
3) The draft will start on Monday, August 16th @ 9:30am EST and there will be a 10 minute interval before picks.  There will be a morning draft session and an afternoon session with a break between sessions.....

I think this should say the draft will start at 9:21 am EST on Monday, August 16, given the following rule (#6):

Quote
6) If you do not draft at your designated time, the person picking next may pick right away and so on.  So please be in the draft thread ahead of time.

ex)

If you're pick is posted as happening at 9:30 am, then you have until 9:31 am to make your pick.  After that, the following person can jump in and pick.  If the person before you drafting picks at 9:25 am, you can make your pick right away.

Rumor has it the Boxers have made another deal and are just awaiting league approval before announcing it.

With a long day of sports watching in front of the television planned for today, the DC Boxers GM will be in chat willing to talk trade or the upcoming draft in general all day today.

Two trades to announce:

Washington (nickagenta) trades 6.26, 7.5, 12.26 and 5 TPs

Oklahoma City (Greenbean) trades 5.1 and 9.1

New Orleans (The Walker Wiggle) trades: 1.22, 3.26, 9.9

Sacramento (BigAlTheFuture) trades: 1.29, 3.2, 8.29

I'd say that these are both fairly even.  I like the first one better for Washington (I think OKC could have gotten a better #6 and #7, and shouldn't have given up a #9).  On the second one, it's pretty much dead even at this point.

rumor has it that the Denver Nuggets have FINALLY consumated a trade to move up in the 5th round.

Before people try and pounce on us with bad offers, the deal (in which we gave up a little more than we normally would) was made in large part because the GM's fiancee's birthday is during the 5th round.

DEN GM Gainesville Celtic decided it was better to give up some value later in the draft, than risk not making it to the wedding by checking my phone every 10 mins during said fiancee's birthday trip down the Ichetucknee River.

I don't want to usurp the commish but once announced, the 5th rounder DEN received is available. I'm happy keeping it (and my potential nuptials) but I'd be willing to move up into higher rounds with it or down to the early 6th (with more later picks coming my way).

I think this should say the draft will start at 9:21 am EST on Monday, August 16, given the following rule (#6):

You are correct the listed times are when draft picks are due.

And no the draft doesn't start at 9:21, it starts at 9:30 when the first pick is made. IP has officially been on the clock for long enough, he doesn't get any extra time.
