I like this trade for Minn.. Delonte is a starting caliber player. They don’t have too many guys you can say that about.
Delonte West would be an excellent point guard in the Triangle offense but with Jonny Flynn + Luke Ridnour there I doubt he has much of a future in Minnesota.

Not to mention Ricky Rubio who'll be joining in another, what it is 12 months now?

I don't like Delonte as a two guard in the Triangle offense. Prefer bigger wings who post up or play off the mid-to-high post rather than combo guards like Delonte. Anyway, they have Martell Webster and Corey Brewer at the two.

So now they have Flynn, Ridnour, and Telfair. The PG carousel of KAHN continues.

Telfair:

KAHHHHHHHHHHNNNNNNN!

I can see KAHN calling up Chris Wallace and asking about the availability of one MIke Conley Jr. Man, I would love to see those two GMs bounce ideas off each other.

Chris Wallace: So you wanted to talk trades huh? What do ya got?
Kahn: Well I have three point guards already...I was hoping Mike Conley Jr was available.
Chris Wallace: Well that all depends...I've got three quality versatile wing players. I was hoping to add Martell Webster...is he available?
Kahn: IS HE EVER!

Wolves could waive Delonte West, only guaranteed $500,000, to further get under the salary cap, and trade Telfair, source tells Y! Sports.

Via Marc Spears again.

You guys think Delonte would be willing to take the minimum and would you guys want him back (I know Nick wouldn't lol)?
In truth, I really like Delonte. I met him in Boston and he took time away from his day after being traded to Seattle to talk to my sons and I. If he took the min, I would welcome him back.

Definitely would rather have him back than Eddie House.

Flynn, Ridnour, Telfair, West plays some point, rights to Rubio... What the heck?

The Wolves just have an awful awful awful team. I mean, as I see it they dont even have players with future all star potential...They are just bad.

Not sure why they picked up Ryan Hollins... but that tells me they're trying to get rid of Varejeaos contract also :o... C's make an offer if thats the case.

Or maybe they picked up Hollins because presently they don't have one single center on their roster whatsoever.

That's my guess.

They are going to waive West and there is nothing wrong with having 3 PGs. That is no more than they had last season.

Rubio is irrelevant. He isn't playing this season.

Neither Brewer or Webster is really an NBA 2. They're both 3s, with Brewer wearing his 2 mask most of the time....

Cleveland trades Delonte West and Sebastian Telfair to Minnesota for Ramon Sessions, Ryan Hollins and a draft pick, a source told Y! Sports.

Well there most likely goes our chance of getting Delonte for the people that wanted him unless he gets bought out.

I don't think that many people wanted Delonte back, especially since we don't have a need for him now.  I also don't think Danny has any interest.  I'd be surprised if Danny is interested.

Why WOULDN'T Danny try to bring Delonte back?  All he'll cost is the minimum, he's in his prime, he can shoot, he's a crazy person, PP likes him, and he plays D.  That's a no brainer.

Yeah I'd love to get Delonte for the vet min.  Anymore not so much.

Wolves will waive Delonte West, source tells Y! Sports.

But surprising the team won't consider keeping him in light of Flynn's injury.

I disagree on Webster, he is more effective at the two than the three. Definitely a two guard.

Corey Brewer is still finding his place/position in his NBA. I would rather see Minnesota try to develop him as a big two guard than a small forward though.
