nba is fixed and the media knows it... weeks later and still crickets about how fishy the finals were

The NBA is not fixed. It's a moronic theory.

Vinnie:

I don't know how you look at how some of the NBA's stars are officiated by their own rulebooks and don't see corruption.
It may not be fixed but it is definitely corrupt.

Corrupt and fixed are two totally different things. And, while I believe there are some referees who should no longer be reffing, I do not believe overall that the sport is corrupt. I guess I would ask all of you who believe this theory if the sport was corrupt two years ago when the Celtics won the championship? What happened that year?
Any time records are set, it is quite suspicious.

Game 2 of the '08 Finals was corrupt. 3.8X ft margin (modern era finals record)awarded to the Celtics makes the (less than) 2.2X ft margin the Lakers got in game 7 this season seem comparatively fair.

Actually, that's an interesting article that was linked. It shows that the rate of fouls called went up by about 20%, but that the fts went up substantially more for the Lakers. The further discussion pinpoints the C's getting into the penalty early as the reason.

no more moronic than theorizing the nba isn't fixed with no concrete evidence...argument can be made either way...one isn't smarter than the other

LA didn't have to shoot FG down the stretch , they shot FTAs. If they missed they shot FTAs, if they turned it over they shot FTAs.  Stern called down the fix.  Stern is the most corrupt commisioner ever, closed door draft.  Dirty refs, probably has a first class job ready in hell.

The games are not fixed, but if you really believe what you are posting, then why do you bother even watching the games?

Thank you
Andy Bernard doesnt lose constests. He wins them, or he quits them because they're unfair.

Because every once in a while the good guys do triumph over adversity.
Never stop believing baby~
