Well, turning Sheed into Josh Howard would improve our roster dramatically, though beginning to question just how possible that is.
But even if we were to land Shaq with Sheed's deal, and nothing else, we'd still be a better team now than with a minimum guy filling in that spot. So in that regard, I think we can improve the team.
A side note: I was pushing the idea of waiting until the deadline to get someone; however, how long can Sheed stay in limbo for? Will the NBA let us keep him "active" at home, then trade him, then have him retire? Will Wyc balk at paying Sheed 3-4 million dollars of his deal to sit at home until the deadline?
