I'm happy with this since we don't have to use an asset (i.e Sheed's contract) to get him. Like Nick said though he is a little fragile so I would like an additional wing for more insurance. Maybe Rasual Butler for the vet min. We still have Sheed's contract in play if DA wants to still try and pull off a bigger move later on but he seems to be very patient and not in a rush to move that contract just yet.

Good post.
I love this move. I think Quis has alot to offer this team. He has great size and can guard three positions. I do agree that when healthy he is a 5 million dollar player especially in this market. I think if he can stay healthy next year we may see that the wing player that we thought we needed was already with the team. I love the way this guy moves without the ball. He is one of the best cutters on this team IMO

Good post.I largely agree; however, how long does Danny have to make this deal? Can he go into the season or even preseason without either trading Rasheed and then having him retire OR having Rasheed report to camp? I mean if he sits at home when training camp starts, is the league going to force him to retire, thus negating any shot we have to trade him?
Do you people really think this is a good idea? This is a guy who bumped his head into someone's chest in the playoffs and was lost to the team for the remainder of the playoffs with a concussion, right? The man is fragile and injury prone. We are going to be paying $2.5 million for about 50 games because that's all he seems to be able to get through before getting hurt.Granted, the pickings are slim but, I'm not thrilled with paying a guy for half a year's work.
Marquis is the epitome of the “good at all, great at none” type of player. He can do everything at a good to above average level, but he’s really not great at anything.*Good slasher*Respectable jump shooter (from mid-range)*Smart distributor (for a non-PG)*Good rebounder*Capable defender*Seems like a nice locker room guyHe’s a poor man’s Tony Allen
Like the signing, like it a lot. Would love it if we can get someone who can hit a 3 on occassion to help out, too. Stack would be nice as the 4th wing, he and Daniels have pretty complementary skillsets.
