Sheeds contract for Bass and Barnes seems like it would work for both parties. After the Heat matched Reddicks offer from the Bulls they are the highest salaried team in the NBA now. I'm sure they could use the luxury tax relief.

Bass barely plays and they were going to let Barnes go for nothing.

Although I hate letting Tony go, this fills a need for our back up 3 and back up 4/5 by using Sheeds contract. Bass would probably be the best rebounder we could hope for with the chips we have remaining.

I love Bass. I was laughing all series when SVG underutilized him.

Barnes apparently is going to get paid like he's more than a role player so I'm not sure Sheed;s contract is enough to get both.

We could do worse than that; however, Barnes is not the #3 wing we're looking for and Bass is another undersized big man when we really need a legit 5.

If Danny can't do any better, I'd settle.  But I don't think this is a great trade.

Would be pretty tough for Barnes to go from a 2 year 9 milllion dollar deal to a 3 year 6ish million dollar deal. And I don't think Orlando would help out a rival like this.

I don't think Orlando would be a willing trade partner with us.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Agreed, although they do need to shave some salary somehow, for a small market team moving in a new building i don't see how they can sustain a $90 million payroll
