1) He's a young, athletic wing who should be available for the minimum salary.
2) His strengths supposedly include rebounding prowess, a mid-range jumper, and defense.
3) The idea of bring back JR Giddens makes me snicker less than the idea of bringing back Gerald Green.

I guess we are gonna cover every possible former Celtic that is still active. I heard that Mikki Moore is a free agent and we need another big so...   :)

yeah and why not talk to Antoine Walker, Ricky Davis and Wally Sczerbiak while we're at it.

What?  I would've thought a Bill Walker thread would have been started first. :D

I thought reason 3 would have made it obvious that I am joking....

This makes me too angry to accept as a joke.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.

Seriously, what was DA thinking when he drafted JR. Watching JR run up the court alone was enough to not buy his game. He wasn't as athletic as was they said. The drama of having to transfer from Kansas, just another sign. Like I said, when the foot speed doesn't match the physique, you should pass. I will never forget thinking we were going to get Mario Chalmers.

2) His strengths supposedly include rebounding prowess, a mid-range jumper, and defense.

Supposedly is right.  Giddens makes no impact when he's on the court.  Reminds me of Marquis Daniels.  He's pretty much at the bottom of the list for people I think we should take back now.

What?  I would've thought a Bill Walker thread would have been started first. :D

I would love to see Bill Walker on our team again.  Still a fan of him and I think he has potential.

I think you've just insulted Daniels (though I'll be glad to see him signed elsewhere as well), but I agree, Walker has real potential.
