Have you heard any news about free-agent center Earl Barron?

He played the last seven games of last season with the Knicks and did some real damage on the board...

He had a career game against us during that span, but no one bothered to guard him. He is still a UFA and available.

I made a post about this awhile ago. I think he’s good enough to be our last big off the bench.

I mentioned him earlier, and I think he would be a pretty neat addition to the bench.

His average of the few games that he did play was pretty much a double-double ( 11 pts and 11 rebounds). More than his scoring, his rebounding would be huge for us.

I had read somewhere that the Knicks were interested in resigning him. So I'm not holding out too much hope for him.... even though he is on my bigs list for sure.

I'd love to get Battie as our last big.
True Celtic = Leon Powe

Bring back the show!!!!

I'm all for Barron.  I likke this idea.  He is young and has a lot of upside!  I think he'd be great off the bench and could turn into a really good player.  Compared to whats left out there for bigs, I think he is probably the best option along w/ Kurt Thomas, Joe Smith, Ratliff, Battie, Shaq (which is unlikely).  I'm ALL ABOUT EARL BARRON MAN!!

Cause it's the real [expletive], [expletive] to make em feel [expletive]

But yea, I think he'd make an excellent addition for the minimum.

He has nice touch and seemed to find open spots.  I think he would be worth it if he was cheap.   Can he be worse than Sheldon?  I think not.

Might be a pretty good option for backup to JO until Perk comes back.  However I think NY offered him a min contract and he declined thinking he could get more.

Why not bring in a big body who can rebound to be our 3rd string center.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
