Nate Robinson will re-sign with Celtics, a league source told Y! Sports. More info coming soon.

Saw this posted on the front page, but not here so I wanted to say Welcome Back Nate and decided to make this a Welcome Back Nate thread.

Welcome back Nate, I am confident that with a half season under your belt you will play some of the best basketball of your entire life for the Celtics.

With the Knicks he was playing on a bad team which helped him take bad selfish shots (if they weren't going to win why not get his). To start his Celtic career he was tentative. At the end of the playoffs he showed what he was capable of. I expect him to play better defense and carry us offensively some night this year.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

tp for bringing good tidings to our all.

so far the celtics bench looks like...

nate,
bradley,
davis,
oneal,
harangody,
scal,
various dross and dregs.

a pretty good core. ainge just needs to get a sg/sf and the celtics are good to go.

Thank you Nate, for not jumping on the Miami bandwagon.

Welcome back, kid.

Awesome news. Tp.

Best thing I really liked about Nate was in one of the games ( I think it was game 4 or 5)...when instead of taking an open 3 pointers....he passed the ball to Ray who was all by himself under the basket. That showed he has matured as a player on the team, and can only get better.

I was an idiot and jerk, but don't worry about it lol.  That's not the point of this thread.  The point of the thread is welcoming back Nate!

Just heard the deal is 2 years for 4million each year.  Very good deal for us especially when every other team is paying players like Nate 6 mill at least lol.

Fantastic!!! Welcome back Nate!!

Now we need a top bench wing plus a serviceable big and wing for needed depth.

I was pleased that in interviews Nate is very down to earth and relaxed, and seems more mature than what we might have thought due to issue in N.Y.  He really gets wild on the court, but the fact that he's clear and solid in interviews tells me that he can eventually combine wisdom with fire to his on-court product....

I was actually hoping for Sessions from Minni to be the back-up PG/Combo guy but Nate will be fine.  Hard to believe he is only 26 years old.  I like the maturity that he showed in the playoffs and expect that he will continue in that direction.

Now who is next, Barnes, Josh Howard,...?
