Orlando matched Reddick (so he's staying) And that likely means Ronnie Brewer is headed to the Bulls who have the money to pay him and he has interest in going there with his friend Kyle Korver.

If Matt Barnes goes to Miami (or elsewhere) tomorrow that's another one down.  Not leaving many options.  Don't know what's gonna happen. Any thoughts??

Josh howard is probably the best option/low hanging fruit.

I proposed a trade scenario for marvin williams in a previous post that I think would work great for us.

I have this feeling that Marquis Daniels might be brought back.  And I'd be perfectly fine with that.

There are rumors that Cavs and Hawks might do a s&t w/ Shaq for Marvin

Well, I still think we can get something for Sheed.  Trading Perk or BBD isn't out of the question either, especially since there seems to be more acceptable backup bigs than wings.  Though I wouldn't go down that road yet.

Still, if Doc makes a commitment to hold Pierce and Ray to restricted minutes regardless of who is backing them up, we could just wait until the trade deadline and see who is available and/or who gets bought out.

I also think, as Truth 34 says, that Marquis would be a nice addition right now.  He'd take some of the pressure off doing something right this second.  We could get though the first half of the season with him backing up PP and Bradley backing up Ray.

Forgot to Add the S&T for Marvin Williams and Shaq is getting closer to done.  Which would also take him out of contention for us.

I am just going to throw out a few names from the FA list, which I think we could prob try getting for our bench. (sorry if any of these players have already signed with another team, but from the top of my head I believe all of these guys are available.)

Larry Hughes
Joey Graham
Anthony Tolliver
Devean George
Craig Smith
Rasual Butler
Marcus Williams
Jerry Stackhouse
Antoine Wright

Just heard on SportsNet Central(Boston),that Barnes is difinitely not coming to Boston, has three teams in mind and will announce the lucky one tomorrow.Lebron has started a trend. On the otherhand it could be throwing people off and Boston could very well be his choice?

Tp, for Jarvis Hayes. If all else fail, we know he can shoot. Just Re-sign Quisy, and bank on Avery being a steal. Then find a good shooter for the minimum. Jarvis Hayes sound good. An above average 3 pointer shooter. Better yet bring back eddie

Off the bench guards:

Avery/House
Quisy/Jarvis

I know. I was going through the 2010 FA list and just took out names which I were interested in.

Boston absolutely CANNOT bring Daniels back ... a wing's gotta be able to shoot, and that's what Daniels does worst. And last season he also lived up to his reputation as an injury-prone player, which isn't good on any team, especially on one so loaded with aging vets.

Jarvis Hayes is a solid option.

I'd rather not go through Daniels again, but he's better than nothing.

Diaw still looks good as a Sheed trade target.

Stephen Graham would be ok.

Rodney Carney and Keith Bogans are decent.

2025 Draft: Chicago Bulls

PG: Chauncey Billups/Deron Williams
SG: Kobe Bryant/Eric Gordon
SF: Jimmy Butler/Danny Granger/Danilo Gallinari
PF: Al Horford/Zion Williamson
C: Yao Ming/Pau Gasol/Tyson Chandler

One wing needs to be able to shoot.  He's really probably a better 4th wing than anyone else out there.

I'll be unhappy if he's the first wing off the bench, but he'd be a very strong 2nd wing.  He's been a starter in this league on fairly good teams.
