Guys, All of us are not going to be sold on any FA's out there right now. They are all flawed. What we have to think about is how they fit our team and the team's philosophy.
That is why I like Matt Barnes. After all, he did start for a 60 plus win team, and the guy can play defense and spread the floor by shooting the 3. Is he LeBron? No, but he would be an invaluable reserve. Barnes can defend 2-3 positions, he has a high basketball IQ, he is skilled offensively, and is a team player.
What is not to like? Especially for a guy that is going to be a reserve? Hopefully we get the TE from Memphis for TA, and use it to get Barnes. Then we use Sheed's deal and our DL's to acquire a wing like Josh Howard. We then need Vet Min. Big, unless Sheed's deal can be turned into multiple pieces.
There are still a lot of cards to be played. Don't give up hope so quickly. Patience is required.
