Tom Coughlin is not looking like a very happy guy right now. First the punter he blamed the fourth quarter collapse on last week shanks a punt and then on the very next play the Packers take it to the house on an 80 yard pass.

Please Santa Claus, could I have a late Christmas present and have both New York football teams choke their way out of the playoffs? Please. I have been a good boy.

Very few things that bring as much pleasure as a Manning pick ... here's hoping Santa hears (at least part of) your plea. ;)

I said it 3 years ago when they gave him that ridiculous contract that it was the dumbest contract ever given in the NFL. Giants fans on this site took me to task for it but Eli proves over and over and over again that he is an average quarterback at best and probably not even among the top 20 in the league this year.

I remembered because I said Aaron Rodgers was a better QB than manning and people told me to stick to fantasy football.

Swap Phillip Rivers for Eli Manning and I wonder if the Giants have won more than one SB.

Yeah, I remember that now ... kudos for sticking to your guns, Bud. This is a perfect game (today) to show how when Eli's getting pressured consistently, he can do very little through the air.

Hard to say.  San Diego hasn't exactly overachieved in the playoffs with Rivers.  My guess would be that New York wouldn't have even won the Super Bowl that Manning did.

Ya, I don't think rivers is the answer in the playoffs.  But he has been much better in the regular seasons

By the same token the people who have been coaching Rivers in those playoffs(Norv Turner, Marty Shottenheimer) have been awful and are a couple of the worst playoff coaches ever. Coughlin is a very very good coach who I think would have made Rivers better than he is.

Wow ... huge play for Chicago ... Sanchez going down to the Bears!

Big win for the Bears.  It was a crazy game, with so much offense, especially on short scoring drives.
Hester completely broke the game open for the Bears in the third quarter.

Cutler gave them a free 7 points and a short field with his stupid sack in the first half. It was nice that Rex Ryan gave the Bears a gift right back on that 4th down try they tried to fool the Bears on.

Wow .... Woodson just fell down and Eli took advantage ... defensive mistakes by Green Bay have really hurt them this year.
