How about the hockey-style fight today, huh?

Based upon the highlights, it looks like the refs could have done more to cool things down between the two.

A decent day for Pats draft watchers.  Carolina continues to own the worst record in the league (Pats own Carolina's 2nd).  And Oakland dips to 5-6 where there is a huge logjam of 4 to 6 win teams. Raiders are still in contention for handing over a top 10.

Yeah, I was just going to post on this.
Miami with the "assist" to NWE... thanks!  In fairness, the Raiders are better than I thought they'd be, but the pick is easily in the first 15 of the first round, likely right around the #10 spot.

Manning with 2 INTs already.  2nd quarter just started.

San Diego looks locked in right now on defense.

I love watching Hester ... a major over-achiever, always producing more than you'd expect from a guy his size ... amazing athlete.

Oakland Raiders hurting the first of the Pats two first round picks this year.

Who would have thought that, at this point in the season, the Colts, Chargers and Raiders all have the same record?

I was very torn while watching the Raiders-Chargers game. On one hand, I wanted Oakland to lose since we have their first round pick and there are so many teams right around that 4-6 win mark. But on the other hand, I really don't want to see the Chargers in the playoffs. I would love to see KC win the division. SD is one of the last teams I'd want the pats to face in the playoffs. Maybe, just maybe we'll have a playoffs without the Colts or the Chargers.

This whole Haynesworth suspension thing seems very sketchy to me ... does anyone have any solid details about the deciding factors, or is it all just the "final straw that broke the camel's back" sort of result? (GreenFaith1819 must not like this one bit - a TP to ease the pain). ;)

There is no way the Metrodome roof collapsed under a little snow. It's Minnesotta. That roof made it through tons of snow.  It's not even deep winter yet.  Somehow the doctor was like "You can't throw. You can't play" and his ego got away and was like "No! You'll never take me alive! I'm playing this week and there's nothing you can do about it!" and it climbed up onto the roof and was like "Don't make me do this man. I got a sniper rifle and I know how to use it....." and then the roof caved.   Espn is just trying to protect the ego, because they know they created this and feel responsible.

We need to get Theisman and the ghost of Johnny Unitas to hold an intervention with Farve's ego and just be like "You need to let it go man. You just need to let it go".

pretty crazy video

Wow -- I hadn't seen that.  Could that have happened during the game, or were there too many warning signs that they knew it was about to happen?

Bad start.
This is going to be fun to watch at home -- glad I'm not there.
