I'd love to see Donovan kick some Romo/Dallas butt ... odds are against it, but that's what makes it so exciting. I think he's still got some gas in the tank.

I'm not sure who treated the Native Americans worse, the 'Cowboys'  or the Spanish conquistadors. My father, however is a huge fan of old Western films though I don't really care for the current Dallas Cowboys. Nothing against Tony Romo, though.

I'm not sure who treated the Native Americans worse, the 'Cowboys'  or the Spanish conquistadors. My father, however is a huge fan of old Western films though I don't really care for the current Dallas Cowboys. Nothing against Tony Romo, though.

I love old western films, as long as they're not the kind that paint Native Americans as savages ... I'll still tolerate those only because I can separate the fiction from the reality, (like sci-fi films). I don't relate cowboy movies to the Dallas Cowboys, however, as they're one of my least favorite teams, (or the team I love to hate ... especially Romo). What we did to Native Americans was a crime on many levels, and I support having a national holiday to celebrate them, (there's a petition you can sign online). Love the cartoon, lol!

Well, either way the VMA's are on right now as well (MTV) so there's the opportunity to catch some Kanye West, if you're patient enough. Apparently he wrote Taylor Swift a song -- remember this is the same guy who jokingly refers to himself as 'the abomination of Obama's nation...' and 'Christopher Colombus [yall just the pilgrims]' in his lyrics. I'm just hoping Kanye doesn't make a fool of himself tonight like last year...

Sorry to say, but Romo is too preoccupied with getting sacked/hurt, and it messes with his head all the time ... that was a perfect example. I'll never respect the guy for that reason. Great half for Washington ... I love it!

Yeah, very interesting turn of events for Vick.  

Interesting day of football all around.
Some thoughts on week one (so far):
(1) SF is just not a playoff team.  I don't care about their division, Alex Smith is just not a good QB, and they seriously botched that pick.
(2) Tennessee -- some have mentioned them as a SB contender.  I was skeptical, it looks like I was wrong.
(3) Patriots: Patrick Chung looks good, but why did we pass on Clay Matthews?
(4) An Indy loss... to Houston.  Huh, didn't expect that.
