Did anyone else see Subban with the huge grin as they were shaking hands?  I don't know what to make of that.  Just a strange kid.

Yeah ... I was wondering about that ... he is a bit odd, though.

LUCIC!!!

 ;D

Well he cant skate but he can still make plays.

It would better serve Lucic and the Bruins if they just came out and said what the heck is wrong with this guy.

Maybe a new series will wipe the slate clean for him and we can see the player we are used too.

The Bruins are like BC Basketball in the Al Skinner era.  Not a great deal of skill, a system that maximizes the talent that they have and minimizes the skill of other teams.  It also puts the handcuffs on explosive players that the bruins do have and forces them into their system.  They will win enough games to be competitive but they will never win it all as long as they play like that.

epic series...i'm exausted. But i'm so happy i don't have to watch the montreal olympic diving team anymore. HABS SUCK.

I'm very worried about this Philly matchup, though.  Their biggest weakness is their goaltending, which really doesn't factor into this series at all as the B's offense at this point has to rely on lucky bounces and scrappy front-of-the-net play.

Pronger doesn't intimidate me too much though he is one of the best defensemen of our generation.  My concern is with Briere/Leino/van reimsdyk.  Similar to Montreal, they have small, skilled offensive players who WILL score goals but they also have the toughness to not allow the B's to control every physical battle.

Honestly, i think the Celtics will have an easier go of it with the Heat then the B's will with the Flyers.

Man, I'm really glad I'm n a "real" Bruins fan...they rarely make things easy for themselves or execute games well down the stretch. They are the anti-Celtics in the post season.

Were u not a "real" fan of ne of the other Boston teams before their championships after their drouts?

As mentioned before, I don't watch much Hockey to the point that I don't know crap aside of the point being to score a goal and hit as many people as you can and as hard as you can...

With that said, what a frustrating game that was and I don't know how the Bruins have made it so far. They kept giving the lead away with moronic plays after moronic plays. And I don't know how a power play can be so bad, it has to be an impossibility how bad it is for these guys.

I hope the next features a bit better hockey from these guys.

Habs fan returns:

Congrats Bruins fans. Amazing series. You really cannot ask for more excitement than this series was. Cannot say I was shocked to see Price get absolutely owned in OT, but still a great series and a great fight from both teams.

In the end, the bruins won the series scoring exactly one more goal than Montreal. Now that's a classic.

It was a dandy, though I was pretty much feeling the B's deserved to lose after that ridiculously idiotic penalty set up the game tying goal.
Yup

I am calling it right now, either Krejci is going to be injured in this series in an ugly way, or Philly is going to have at least 1 guy suspended for trying to injure him.

Since he dominated the first half of game 1, it has become incredibly obvious that Philly has remembered how the series changed when he went down last year, and have put a bounty on his head.  There have already been a couple questionable shots on him, and I have a feeling they are just going to get more blatant as the series goes along.
