Wow.  I didn't think it was possible to lose a game in a worse way than in Game 1.  I was wrong.

11 seconds into OT. Wow.  That's pathetic.

Canadian people are just way better at hockey.  And they deserve to be -- they care far more about hockey (example: the new Winnipeg team that left Atlanta because of fan apathy just sold thousands and thousands of tickets in one day).

Maybe that's why they name their teams with terms that mean "Canadian person" -- to reiterate that Canadian people care way more about hockey, and are thus far better at it (or at least their teams are).

Bruins still have a chance in this series, but through two it looks like they are seriously outmatched (to my admittedly uninformed eyes).

yep.

either way, it's really tough to be a fan of a team that has a difficult time scoring.

well put - a team that struggles to score and doesn't get many easy ones just has to work so hard for everything.

great offense + good defense is easier to watch than the reverse, though in the end, i'm not so sure that great defense doesn't win.

well, i don't know much about hockey, but from what i've seen and read about the NBA, a championship team must be above average at both ends of the court, and great on at least one end.

the celtics have been a great defensive team these past few years, but i don't think they've really been above average offensively except for '08 when they won it all.

Yup.  The B's proved they weren't outmatched in Vancouver.  They just needed to be put the flarfin' puck in the net and be the aggressor.
