(SI.com) -- Mike Murphy, the NHL's Senior Vice President of Operations, has announced that forward Alex Burrows of the Vancouver Canucks will not be suspended for an incident in Wednesday night's Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final against the Boston Bruins."After reviewing the incident, including speaking with the on-ice officials, I can find no conclusive evidence that Alex Burrows intentionally bit the finger of Patrice Bergeron," Murphy wrote in a release issued by the NHL on Thursday afternoon.The two players were involved in a scrum at the end of the first period and it appeared that Burrows bit Bergeron, who was seen wearing a bandage on his finger after the game. Murphy has been serving in cases involving the Bruins, for whom Campbell's son Gregory plays.
