IMO, most underrated move so far this offseason.

The signing is bigger than people think.  Its huge, really.

Is he serious about trying to convince Sheed to play another year? Does he want less playing time for himself and for Ray and Paul to wear out by the all-star break, or does he think Ainge signed him to play the wing?

Great comments from JO. I'm glad we have him. His skills are going to mesh with the the team in a very excellent way.

He's a team guy, physical, can score inside and outside (mid range), and he'll be another long rim protector.

Very articulate. Think he will be huge. Knows the game and attitude seems right.

Jermaine O'Neal always gives a good press conference. Hits all the right buzz words and says all the right things.

Unfortunately, he doesn't back up his words on the court.

He doesn't? I've seen a number of excellent games from him. And I certainly have never not seen him play a team game, even if he is missing his jumpers.

He's also got excellent size and length in the paint. His game logs against LAL and ORL - the top paint competition - are certainly adequate.

I am hoping the large number of negative comments you have made about this signing are proven completely wrong.

When did he say that?  I didn't here it in the video.  Is he friends with Rasheed?  That would be sweet if he came back.

But not as big, or as underrated, as Tiago Splitter going to San Antonio.  He's going to be right there with Brook Lopez and Bogut, right out of the box. A first-pick-in-the-draft talent.  And now he has taken his talents to San An.

But the JO signing is also big, I agree.

Yeah, all things considered, I'd take Rasheed back for another year if the C's can find a solid minimum wager for the backup 2/3 role.
