Well since Scottie is having major money trouble and near Bakruptcy.

I dont think he "stacks up" well against Lebron right now  ;)

Other then that fact...it is simple math.

Scottie 6 rings

Lebron 0 rings

Scottie > Lebron

I also think Lebron WILL NOT win a ring this year...unless the the  Heat get past the Celts and Magic AND the Fakers are NOT the team representing the west in the Finals.  Only possible way they do it in year one.

So, is Robert Horry better the Larry Bird?  Pierce?  KG?   He has more rings.  Simple math.

Or is Pippen better then Bird?  Magic?  Chamberlain?

I didn't use that as part of my argument lol.

I will say that Pippen sacrificed more in his game than any of use will ever realize.  Other than that one stupid incident, but I think GreenEnvy hit the nail on the head with that.

if anyone here has ever watched Lebron play, they know he is better than Scottie Pippen ever was.

Since 1990, only three guys have scared the living hell out of me every time they've been in possession of the basketball against the Celtics.

Lebron is one of them, Pippen is not.

Lebron is a better basketball player.  No question.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, rings shouldn't come into play in a debate until you start debating two near identical talents.  To me, it can be a tiebreaker in that situation.

In this case, even Pippen's 6 rings don't overcome the talent displayed by Lebron.  The gap is too great.

No, I know I didn't say that lol. I was just pointing that out lol because I don't agree with that at all, just because someone has more rings than someone else doesn't mean he is the better player, all the time.

I can understand being Afraid of LeBron when he had the ball in his hands in the '08 playoffs, but after that never again have I been afraid of LeBron when he had the ball in his hands.

Somewhere after that series he lost it the it that Michael had and all the greats that led their teams!

So that type of reasoning makes Pippen better than Lebron, huh?

Of course not...I was just trying to be funny.

We are comparing Superstar to Superstar Pippen and James at least add another Superstar to the mix if you want to go that route on me.  Apples to Apples

Never count role players no matter how big they were.  I cant even remember Robert Horry making an all star team (although he may have).  Let alone making all NBA, NBA defensive team or getting MVP votes.

That is not simple math at all that is ghetto math like

Adam Morrison 2 rings
Rajon Rondo 1 ring

Morrison > Rondo  ::) bahahahahaha

I just said that somewhere after '08 against us, LeBron lost it.  What I was saying then had nothing to do with the LeBron to Pippen comparison and I don't know where you got that it did.

The only argument I can see people making for Pippen over Lebron (besides the shaky at best rings argument) is people have such blind hatred of Lebron (which we've seen plenty of on these boards lately) that they refuse to try to use statistics or even their own eye-sight to believe something that should be relatively obvious.

Statistics aren't everything!  Kobe had the best stats in the Finals, but we all know Pau Gasol should have been the Finals MVP.  Just because someone had better stats didn't mean he had more of an impact on the court.

We should all know that especially since the best player in our franchise played proved that himself (Of course his defensive stats would have been great had they kept them then).

You mean when he won MVPs.  Oh, and in 2009 where he went deeper into the playoffs then he did in 2008?

The last 4 years, he has lost to the superior teams of SA in the finals, Boston in the semi, Orlando in conference Final and Boston in the Semi.
