I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I think the last two non-active roster spots (#14&15) should go to CBers on rotating 10 day contracts.  I'm pretty sure that, if called upon, even the most cranky curmudgeons (hi, vinnie) could cheer, towel-wave, and not hurt anyone in practice.  That would put any of us on equal footing with the 14-15th man of recent seasons.

Besides, I can't afford decent seats and could really use a break.

oooh oooh!  could this really happen?!  I never leave home without a towel anyway  ;)!!!!
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

As much as I don't like Morrison and enjoy mocking him, he is too talented to not sign if the contract is cheap enough.

I think that part is a myth that's been created.  He might have done amazing things in college, but that has NOT translated over to the NBA.  He's really not that talented...

Low risk no reward signing. Like Paddy O'Bryant.

Ha. I was going to go with "low risk, low reward".

http://forums.celticsblog.com/index.php?topic=21107.0

This blog was filled with optimism for O'Bryant when he came here!!  OK, not filled, but I'd say over 50% were optimistic.  A few of the pessimistic were mostly pessimistic unless he got the vet min (which he did).  Who was one of the few adamantly against signing O'Bryant regardless of contract.  Roy wasn't too high on him either.

This guys has posted some of the worst Field Goal Percentages i’ve ever seen. But if he played here and limited his shot selection to smarter shots... he might be able to turn it around.

If my sister had a penis, she would be my brother.

Waste of a roster spot IMO.

I'm going to break this down with my logic.

1. The Lakers were a championship team.
2. Morrison didn't even sniff the court for the Lakers.

Now, those are irrefutable facts.  The same logic can be said for the Celtics.  The Celtics want to be a championship team, and by there moves this off season, they are planning to be.  How does Morrison help if he couldn't help the Lakers?  Unless he is the last man on the bench like he was in Hollywood, it makes no sense.

I am giving you a tommy point just for your name. And in other news, I heard that Antione Walker, Gary Payton, and Vin Baker were available.
