No, and why do Adam Morrison threads keep appearing?

If they want the equivalent of a male Celtic's dancer sitting on the bench the Celtics might as well hire me.

I am 6'4 in shoes 240lbs and can carry about 6 bags.  I can also remember lunch orders with the best of them.  I can dance better then Adam, wont steal hi 5's...and look better in a tailored suit.  They don't even have to pay me.

Because he is talented and skilled. He is not Gerald Green nor Giddens. He was no. 3 overall in the Draft and a Rookie of the Year awardee. He too was a co-awardee with JJ Redick in college just before both went to the NBA.

My only worry is his diabetes (type 1). That I guess is the only issue against him. It could also be the reason why LAL didnt use him much.

I just would want to make the correction. Not the ROY awardee. I got him mixed up with another player. Though I stand by my post that he could be a tall 6'8" SG if he'll be utilized in that position.

NBA Comparison: Larry Bird

Aran Smith - 12/28/2006

Strengths: A special talent ... Old school right down to the stripes on the socks ... Like a coach on the floor ... Incredibly competitive ... The game comes very easily to him ... A great player in the half court ... Can create offense for himself or others ... Really excels with the ball in his hands at the top of the key ... Very good scorer with complete offensive repertoire ... Effortless shooting stroke ... Has great anticipation and basketball understanding ... Great intangibles, competes and inspires others to play hard ... Hard worker ... Plays with great intensity and aggressiveness ... Fundamentally solid, does all the little things to help his team win ... A true competitor. Will not back down from anyone ... Wants to take the big shot ... Sees the floor well, and is creative finding teammates for baskets ... Catches and shoots, or can shoot on the move ... Great at moving without the ball ... Finds a way to score against better athletes ... Great leadership ability ...

Weaknesses: Not especially gifted athletically ... Lacks great foot speed getting out into transition ... Runs decent, but needs a head of steam ...Better hand speed than foot speed ... Leaping ability is average ... Plays hard on defense but lacks great lateral quickness ... Lack of a great first step will make it harder to get shots off against superior athletes ...

Look at how his strengths outweigh his weaknesses, and NBAdraft.net compares him to Larry Bird.  I don't think they're ever wrong.  I think we'd be stupid not to sign him!

DraftExpress.com says Best Case: Shorter Dirk Nowitzki
Worst Case: Post-prime Glenn Robinson

Sounds like in either case we win, go get him Danny.  I'll even be okay with raising ticket prices if we can nab a player like him.

I would consider him if he was in addition to a player like Fernandez or Howard. I'd be a little worried if he was our main wing off the bench.

honestly, if Danny could lock up Josh Howard, I'd be fine with any other move he made leading up to the season.

Rondo
Ray
PP
KG
Perk

Nate
Bradley
Howard
Baby
JO

I'd put that team against any in the league and be extremely pumped going into next season.

Add on Morrison and maybe bigs like Kurt Thomas, Scals, and Harangody.....even better.
