Not an NBA caliber player.

Morrison costs his team a huge amount of points through his abysmal defense, atrocious rebounding and non-passing. Even if he could get his scoring in order, and be a functional scoring role player, his negatives would still outweigh his positives ... and Morrison isn't getting his offensive game together anytime soon. That inefficient volume shooting is another major negative.

If we wanted to fill our quota for guys who look like Billy Crudup in Almost Famous then yes. But in all seriousness, an unathletic wing with neither an ounce of defense nor toughness in his bones has no place on the C's (let alone the ability to hit a jumper).

Over his severely underwhelming career Morrison has put up shoddy shooting percentages (37.3 fg%, 33.1 3pt%), no rebounding (2 rpg), and an assist/to ratio of 1:1.

All in all, if this guy was any good, he wouldn't have been dumped by the Bobcats, but he couldn't make it with a rebuilding franchise and has been an awesome towel waver and an expert at avoiding getting blisters from riding the pine.  I loved watching him play in college with the Zags, but he was a product of playing in a weaker conference, where he was always taller than the guy he was playing against, thus equalizing his lack of quickness with his length and his slow release with his height.  Those weakness cannot be hidden in the NBA.

So in short, no the C's should have absolutely no, zero, nada interest in this guy, but crazier things have happened I guess.

Yes to Adam Morrison for the vet minimum, if they can ink him for two years at that prize, with the second as a team option, even better. A lighter, cheaper, younger Scals is the worst case scenario. If he take the chance to be a real contributor, i'd be ecstatic.

And well, can you imagine Josh Howard and him in the Celtics? Add Shaq and the boys in green are the new Public Enemy #1. I like it.

If remaking Dazed and Confused - yes.  Else - no.
Stay classy, San Diego. Hello, Baxter? Baxter, is that you? Bark twice if you're in Milwaukee. Is this Wilt Chamberlain? Have the decency to say something.

What for?  Certainly not for a roster spot on the Celtics. ::)

Would you consider Adam Morrison?

Only as a flagger for one of the parking lots outside the Garden.  The guy's got the height to be spotted over the parked cars on the street and the pedestrians.

It's funny to look back and think about that fact that just a few short years ago, we wanted this guy on our team, and the ESPN hype machine had some of us believing that he was the second coming of Larry Bird.

If I was hiking in the woods and wandered off a path, and accidentally fell 30 feet into a gorge and broke my arm, and lay there screaming for help and I didn't have my cell phone with me, and if eventually another hiker wandered by and peered over the edge, and it was Adam Morrison, and he was like "are you alright dude?", I would consider Adam Morrison as a person whose cell phone I could borrow to call for help.

If there's room for Semih Erden, there's room for Adam Morrison, right?  I'd be fine with a minimum deal, but I wouldn't expect much of a contribution.

I'm happy to day I wasn't one of them.  Didn't think he should have been the #3 pick either.  To be fair, I didn't think he'd be this bad.  I thought he would be a Korver or Kapono type player.
