First off this trade can't happen until the end of August so we might have to be patient but I think it solves a lot of problems for all teams involved.

Minny is looking to move Ramon Sessions for salary relief

Indy is looking for a point guard

Boston is looking for back up wings that can play defense and shoot

So:

Boston sends to Minnesota: Rasheed Wallace who retires

Minnesota sends to Boston Martell Webster
Minnesota sends to Indiana Ramon Sessions

Indiana sends to Boston Dahntay Jones
Indiana sends to Minnesota AJ Price

Let me get this straight....Indy in looking for a point guard so
they trade one to Minnesota who already has a surplus of pints and get none in return?.....what am I missing?

I like Webster, but so does Minny.  Makes no sense to trade him for cap relief since they traded Gomes' cap-relieving non-guaranteed deal and a pick to get him 2 weeks ago.

Also, now that I'm thinking of Indy/Minny trades, wouldn't a Troy Murphy/Al Jefferson trade make complete sense for both teams?  Murphy only has one year left and has good triangle-offense big-man skills, and Big Al could be a good complement to Granger for the long term.  Minny looks better next year and gets rid of the square peg in Al J, and Indy jumpstarts their reloading a year early?

Couple things.

1.) Dallas is now rumored to be thinking about sending Dampier's contract to Minny for Al Jefferson and Utah is thinking about sending their trade exception from Boozer to Minny for Al. I don't see an Indy/Minny Big Al trade going down.

2.) Currently at small forward the TWolves have 1st rounders Wesley Johnson and Lazar Haywood, they have Martell Webster and Michael Beasley as well. Now, I agree they like Webster but they might not be able to find a taker for Beasley and could be forced to move Martell Webster instead. So you never know.
