To wrap this whole thing together, I needed a person who could understand and relate to the unlimited subtleties of this very diverse and multi-talented squad of players. It had to be someone who is a proven entity for the task ... a unique personality with immense character, boundless understanding and knowledge of the game, an innate ability to unite such a diverse group into a seamlessly operating cohesive unit, at the same time generating a chemistry of selflessness and "team-first" play, while doing so in a positive, non-deprecating fashion.
While this narrows the list of possibilities quite significantly, it nonetheless still took a bit of searching, though I admittedly didn't have to look very far. As our final pick in the
Ultimate Draft, the
Bahku Dahek M.I.'s tenth-round pick in the category of "Wild Card", is none other than the award-winning ex-star of the NBA, (on teams such as the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Clippers, and San Antonio Spurs), and the definition of high "Basketball I.Q." ...
... 6'4", 205-pound Point-Guard from Marquette University, our Head Coach and Leader Extraordinaire, the one and only ...
...
Glenn Anton "Doc" Rivers!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGu7kGXAa-E"OK, Guys ... all we gotts do is play
our game ... let the game come to us ... now let's get this done!"
