What Happened with Brad Miller?

As happy as I am with JO coming on board, I was also starting to get my hopes up with landing Brad Miller.

Does anyone know if the Celts still have interest and if it's possible they could still land him?

And if not, what happened all of a sudden where Miller was no longer an interest?

miller is always hustling, if he signs for the mid level i'll be bumbed

They wanted him, but i've read a few places that there were other teams offering more (not sure if it was years or more than the MLE) than the Celtics were willing to offer.

1. Not sure if its even possible or if CHI renounced him to sign boozer.
2. I'm hoping Sheed becomes Marvin Williams or comparable player.
3. Don't want to pay Miller an MLE level deal if we already have JO. I like Ben Wallace at the min.

Williams would be a fine backup SF.  Young, long and athletic.  Why is ATL parting with him?

Agree on B. Miller.  I actually preferred him to JO because of his toughness, but glad to have JO now.  No way I'd give him much more than the vet min now.  In any case, some team will overpay for him.

I would have preferred Miller too.  Over the course of the regular season, ONeal will put up better numbers.  But in a playoff war, the last guy I want out there is Oneal.  Miller competes and wants to win.  Can't say the same about Oneal.
