So for those who don't want Posey's contract, let me get this straight: Posey helped us win a championship. And for that, we say he stinks.

Everyone on this board is literally in love with Ryan Gomes, and when he was here, we were such a bad team it wasn't even funny.

Makes sense....I guess. Maybe I'm in the minority but I would LOVE Posey back.

They are not giving up Collison.
Absolutely. No chance they give up Collison for a James Posey salary dump.

One got a contract that was to rich for the Celtics and has since slowed down as a player to the point that he is no where close to the player we remember in Celtics green.

The other played when the team did not have Ray, KG and all-star Rondo.  There was a chance he could sign for less money.  He has improved his game and has not hit the downward age yet.

Collison is too valuable to trade away in a salary dump over a $6-7 million a year contract.

If New Orleans trade Collison, they'll trade him for talent. Either for a young player on a cost effective contract or in combination with Peja's expiring contract for an established All-Star.

No salary dumps. Only for talent. Collison is too valuable to give away in a salary dump.

Darren Collison started 37 games last year.

He averaged 18.8ppg and 9.1apg along with 3.5rpg and 1.4spg.

They are not trading away a player who is talented enough to do in order to get rid of Posey's contract.
