This fat **** has no idea what he's talking about, jusr runs his mouth. He is absolutely killing the C's for this move because he thinks Shaq is a lot beter fit with this team. He even went as far as to say Luke Harongody will contribute more than Jermaine O'Neal next season.

Ok how is Shaq a better fit with the C's?

-Shaq can't cover pick and roles
-Jermaine O'Neal can

-Shaq will clog up the lane on offense for Rondo and PP
-Jermaine Oneal can hit a 15-18 ft jumper to open the lanes for Rondo and PP

-The C's are at their best when they get out and run,Shaq clearly can't do that
-Jermaine O'Neal can beat most Centers in the league on the fast break

Jermaine O'Neal has had to be the # 1 or 2 option on all the playoffs teams he was on. He would only be asked to play great D and be the 5th option on offense( probably the best 5th option on a starting lineup in the league). Put him next to KG and you will see a very effective Center next season.

Who cares what he has to say.  It's his opinion he has a right to it.  Let's hope he's wrong or that he's right and Harrangody ends up being a beast gets rookie of the year lol and does only a little better than O'Neal so that means O'Neal still plays really well.

Sports talk radio I presume...

If they would have gotten shaq he would have been over the hill...  I don't think it's even close.  I feel bad for you guys it appears that Boston has the worst Sports talk Radio hosts (oxymoron I know) in the country.  Lots of Sox talk I bet.

We don't know how Jermaine is going to turn out yet.  We could all be looking like the idiots saying he is a steal right now.

Like I said lets hope Ordway ends up being right and that Harrangody can be a beast, get rookie of the year lol and Jermaine will just have barely less of an impact of Harrangody.  That way they both are playing great.

Looks we all know that Ordway is a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.bag, but he does know a thing or two about basketball.  I find it hard to believe he would say somethnig like that.  I'm not doubting the OP, but the quote must have been taken out of context.  I know for a fact that Orway is very conservative about judging rookies or really anybody who hasn't proven themselves.  What was the context?  Maybe the discussion was around how often O'Neal is injured?  In that case, it is conceivable that Harangody could contribute more (i.e., more than nothing if O'Neal is injured).

The problem is that it takes a special kind of clown to have such strong opinions that are so unfounded in any evidence. Harangody would be lucky to ever have a single season as productive as JO's poor showing last season.

Ordway regularly says nonsense because his confidence so exceeds his IQ.

Apparently, Ordway only watched the Heat when they were playing the Celtics in the playoffs.

He's not entirely wrong.  If Perk were healthy and we just needed somebody to play 15 minutes a night, I actually think Shaq would be a better choice than JO.  But since a really healthy Perk might not step on the floor until the start of next spring, JO is a much better choice.

I basically agree - except JO cannot hit long 2pt jumpers and be efficient. In fact that's how we'll know if he's playing well or not.

Even then I am afraid he might have just watched the game recaps. I hate "occasional" basketball analysts.
