But as for trading Perk.... It's not a wise move. Besides teams not giving fair value right now because of the injury, we need his big body. We are the only team that can beat teams like Cleveland, Orlando, and Los Angeles because of how well we can defend guys like Shaq, Howard, and Bynum. Losing him for someone like Biedrens or Jefferson would be a mistake.

I put a premium on protecting the rim....especially if this dream team happens in MIA.

Perk would be my starter when he gets back, but Tyson would have a huge role both keeping it together while Perk rehabs and then coming off the bench in the playoffs.

I think Sheed and Baby showed that who you have coming in off the bench is often the difference between winning and losing and to men having Tyson coming in would be a huge boost in a series against Miami and the Lakers....totally changing that size advantage LA has at the moment.

I also think Rondo and Tyson would be fun and dangerous with back door alley-oops.

Miller and Nate would stretch the floor coming in off the bench and TA and Baby would do the dirty work banging and being physical on defense.

certainly a dream scenario, but I would actually take that team over even the dream team in MIA of Wade, LBJ, and CB.

If LBJ joins CB and Wade in Miami, I wouldn't  be surprised to see Danny go after Chris Paul.

I think CP3 is going to start pushing for a trade if the dream team happens (he's not going to want another mediocre season in NO). I think NOs financial situation is only going to  get more burdensome as time passes. and I think Danny has ALWAYS wanted CP3, so he will try to pry him away using Okafor's weighty contract to do so...

that said, I think Danny could assemble a team built around GPA + Rondo and Perk and still beat that MIA juggernaut. That team is not unbeatable.

The key, though, to the Cs will be how Danny fills out the middle. We need another big time defensive presence in the middle.

Chicago gets the best player in the game and we give them the one type of player he needs? Additionally, we take their worst contract in Deng? I know we all love Tom T, but c'mon.

Redick for $3.x million? Haywood for $2.x million? BOTH can probably score full MLE's or better.

Shaq for the VM is hopeful, but not likely.

Ok so I would prob trade Sheed's contract + Baby for Josh Smith. (It works, but Atl prob wouldn't do it).

I would sign Shaq and Allen Iverson for vet min and resign both Ray Allen and Tony Allen.

And for MLE I would get Mike Miller.

Do you really think Josh Smith is a better play than Big Baby?? Don't gt me wrong, he's a beast on the fast break and blocking shots. But I'd rather have Davis than him. Plus he hates Boston. No chance he comes here. NONE.
