Jamarcus Russell Arrested?

It appears that Jamarcus Russell has been arrested for having some sort of prescription pain killer and/or cough syrup. The story is on espn and several other sites but there is not a lot of info out there on this. Its a really wierd story...

He was arrested for possession of codeine syrup without a prescription. Codeine mixed with Sprite/7up is something that is mostly used/abused down south. The mixture is commonly called "Purple Drank" or "Sizzurp"...

Interesting, never heard of that before.  You learn something new everyday. 

What the heck was Russell thinking anyway?  Didn't he earn something like $33M from the Raiders?  It just seems so small time to now be peddling cough syrup.
