Along with Haywood, the Celtics also reached out to a couple of wing players, 6-7 guard/forward Antoine Wright of Toronto as well as 6-7 guard/forward Rasual Butler who averaged a career-high 11.9 points per game last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.
I would love Rasul Butler for the vet min. Capable scorer and decent defender. He would be the 5th wing

I agree, I live out in LA and see a fair amount of Clippers games. Butler is a pretty good wing player. He has really long arms which makes him an above average defender. And he's a capable offensive player and a pretty good three point shooter. Would be a great 4th or 5th wing.

Antoine Wright? Ugh ... he better not be asked to fill anything more important than fifth or sixth wing in the depth chart.

I don't want him anywhere near a regular rotation.

Antoine Wright was one of the only role players to actually show up for D Wade in playoffs this year.  He's not terrible, but I much prefer to see Rasual Butler.  I'm a big fan of his.  Just a solid solid player.  Couldn't go wrong with that signing.

Are these contingency players if we lose Paul and Ray?

If they are just for our bench, I think wings are too redundant for our squad.

Where are the big men?

Wrong player -- you're thinking of Dorell Wright.

Antoine Wright was on the Raptors last season and hurt them with frightening regularity. On the Mavs before that, where he was also poor and the Nets before that where again he was poor. A borderline NBA player.

A 3rd/4th wing (Tony is the other bench wing player) who can shoot and play calmly (i.e. makes up for Tony weaknesses) would be nice.

I'm okay with Rasual Butler as a replacement for Mike Finley.  I have no interest in Antoine Wright.

Eh, they're athletes. We need that. They can also probably grab a few boards with that athleticism. I'm more wrapped in Haywood/Miller than these guys.
Grab a few boards, keep the TO's under 14, close out on shooters and we'll win.
